I know these are a lot of pics of the same thing. But I love it, he is going down BY HIMSELF! My mom was freaking out. My DAD was the one who put him on the zip line just on his own.... without a safety strap.
Eddie held on for dear life, while enjoying every second.
At the end when he snapped back with a (somewhat) controlled pull-back bungee stop, he tightened his grip instead of falling off from the jolt onto the cement. Yay Eddie!!!
After that, there was no stopping him.
I know his outfit is crazy, he is my third child and I was in a rush, what can I say?

Dooooowwwwnnn he goes. That kid is brave for a 2 yr old! The zip line gets a pretty decent speed.
I had this additional "pillow closet" added to a ledge on the stairs when the loft was enclosed w/walls. My concern was that the original platform was low enough to make it easy climbing for the boys and they could fall off onto the tile floor below.
Haha...... boys. They will find a way. Eddie discovered he could remove the ladder from his bunk bed and carry it down. Nice problem solving, or nice creativity....whichever.
maybe when the closet door is placed, they will stop trying to climb inside? maybe?

Haha...this is so something my two boys would be doing! Tara, you look wonderful and I cannot believe how big the kids are getting. Jade is beautiful!!! Big change from the first grader I remember. Glad you guys are doing well and liking CA. Please tell Jade I said hello and send my very best!!

I can say, that after seeing the zip line in person, the blog does not do it justice! I mean, look at that 2 year old!! How cute! It is so fun, I keep thinking about it. I want to go on it over and over. Your dad is so amazing.
i think u should leave it open. it's a fun cubby for the kids to hide in!
