My Joshy-boy

For those of you who know Jade well, you know she is absolutely AMAZING and UNIQUE as anything. I have been trying to watch Josh and find the qualities that set him apart as well. He is so different from Jade, but I have found since I am so used to Jade, some of those differences frustrate me. Like how is in not as independent, organized, self-starter, etc. But when I started to really look, I have found some treasured qualities in my little mamas-boy, and I just love it so much!
He is more relaxed and easy-going, just kind of takes his time in life. He is SUPER thoughtful and sweet, very lovey-dovey and affectionate. For example, here are a few pictures from this morning when I dropped him off at school. Every time I drop him off, he turns around after we blow and catch kisses several times, and says very sincerely " I love you so much mom....... oh and mom, have a great day, get some rest, get some sleep, take care of Eddie, run your errands, and just have a great day, OK?"
Yes, he knows he is a sweet-heart.
I also love how tough he is. He just bull-dozes through kids at soccer, even if he doesn't have to. He gets right back up when he gets knocked down, and just looks even more determined an tough. But he is still a good friend, and will stop to talk to other team-mates anytime. :)

That is my super most favorite thing when my kids show compassion for my day and the things I need to get done or have done. I love it when Jake or Kora asks me about my day, it's so sweet and so caring. You'd think that being so little they are usually completely self-absorbed, but little do we know, they think about us during the day while they're away just like we think about them.

This is so sweet. I wish I had a mammas boy. They say the best thing about boys is that they remain close with their moms no matter how big they get. Josh is definately photogenic. I know when my girls have there moments were they are super effectionate i just melt, anything I might have been anyoyed or worried baout is gone and I just want to hug them. Kids are so intuitive. Im sorry, I am invading your blog for this, but any tea party ideas you have I would appreciate. Jenna wants a princess dress up tea party birthday and any ideas or seggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is so sweet... not only that Josh is sweet but because you wrote such sweet things about him...Also, i have to let you know that the other day when we were down in the "creative lab" making halloween decorations Josh randomly said,"Aunt Lindsay, you are the bestest artist i know. You're so fun." That just made my night... it was all worth it because of his (and jade's) comments to me about how much they love and appreciate me. I hope they know how much i love and appreciate them.
